Objectives:To assess the efficacy of finasteride (1 mg/d) in treating androgenetic alopecia in men with androgenetic alopecia.

Methods:Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, double-dosage treatment was conducted in 50 male outpatients for 1 year. The study was conducted after informed consent was obtained.

Results:In the group treated with finasteride, all participants completed the 8-week study period. Finasteride 1 mg/d significantly improved male sexual function (p=0.001). The 5-year global and global and total hair loss were significantly improved (p<0.001). A significantly improved hair density, hair diameter, and hair thickness were found in all participants.

Conclusion:The efficacy of finasteride (1 mg/d) in treating androgenetic alopecia is not inferior to finasteride 1 mg/d.

Finasteride 1 mg/d Results: In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized, parallel-group, fixed-dose study, the efficacy of finasteride 1 mg/d in treating androgenetic alopecia was not significantly improved by the treatment.Finasteride 1 mg/d Results: In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, double-dosage, double-blind, multicenter, phase II study, the efficacy of finasteride 1 mg/d was significantly improved by the treatment (p=0.0001)

Introduction

Oral finasteride (Proscar®) is indicated for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (male pattern hair loss) in postmenopausal women who have undergone a radical prostatectomy (prostatic-rehydration). Proscar, an oral compound drug with a long half-life and a relatively high oral bioavailability, is a well-tolerated and well-tolerated oral medication for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in postmenopausal women. The efficacy of finasteride (1 mg/d) in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia has been demonstrated in two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, double-dose studies. Two studies were conducted in men with androgenetic alopecia and no differences were found between them. In one of these studies, the hair loss was improved by 1 mg of finasteride (2 mg/d) in comparison to placebo (p=0.001). In another study, the hair loss was improved by finasteride (2 mg/d) in comparison to placebo (p=0.002). The efficacy of finasteride 1 mg/d in treating androgenetic alopecia has not been evaluated in male patients in this randomized, placebo-controlled, double-dose study. Finasteride 1 mg/d is not approved for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. In male patients in a clinical trial, finasteride (1 mg/d) has not been shown to be effective in treating male pattern hair loss.

Method

Fifty-seven patients with male pattern hair loss were randomized to finasteride (1 mg/d) or placebo (1 mg/d) for 3 years, every 6 months. The patients were monitored for hair loss, and the hair density, diameter, and hair thickness was assessed at 1, 2, 3, and 6 months. The primary efficacy endpoints were total hair loss, hair density, hair diameter, and hair thickness. Secondary endpoints were hair density and hair thickness in men treated with finasteride 1 mg/d and placebo.

In one of the double-blind, placebo-controlled studies, patients with male pattern hair loss demonstrated greater hair loss than patients with female pattern hair loss (p=0.003). In a study conducted in men with androgenetic alopecia, hair loss was not clinically significant. In a study in men with androgenetic alopecia, the 5-year total hair loss was significantly better than that of placebo (p=0.001). Finasteride (1 mg/d) also had no significant effects on hair density, hair diameter, and hair thickness.

The efficacy of finasteride (1 mg/d) in treating androgenetic alopecia in male patients with androgenetic alopecia was not significantly better than that of finasteride 1 mg/d. The 5-year global and total hair loss was significantly improved.

Trimethoprim

Propecia is a prescription medication used in dogs to treat benign prostatic hypertrophy (enlarged prostate) in dogs. It works by blocking the production of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the hormone that causes prostatic hypertrophy. DHT can cause enlarged prostates to form, which cause symptoms such as increased urge to urinate, straining to defecate, and blood in the urine.

Adverse Effects

Some unwanted reactions of Propecia can be severe.

Get rid of Propecia at the most up-to-date channels, right at the drug's name.

Worse, It Can Cause Blood Pressure spikes

If you are experiencing high blood pressure, high cholesterol, irregular heartbeats, or stroke, your veterinarian may recommend a blood pressure med. This product has a great deal of blood circulation, so it can cause high blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides and other blood sugar-related problems if used with drugs that increase blood sugar.

Important

Do not use Propecia if you are allergic to this medication or any of the ingredients in Propecia.

Dogs treated with idc can get rid of Propecia without having side effects.

Background:The Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) screening for prostate cancer is an important and timely screening procedure for men with prostate cancer. The aim of this study was to evaluate the PSA value of finasteride (Proscar) in a population of men with prostate cancer, including those who were not eligible for prostate cancer screening (PSA) as a part of the prostate cancer screening programme.

Method:This was a case-control study using the Prostate Cancer International database and conducted by the Research Ethics Committee of the University Hospital in Wuhan, China.

Results:Among all men with prostate cancer who were eligible for PSAs, a total of 12,979 men (30.1%) were found to have PSA values above 4.5 ng/ml and 5,849 (35.6%) were found to have PSA values greater than 10 ng/ml. Of these 12,979 men, 16.3% were non-smokers, 8.2% were heavy drinkers, and 2.3% were smokers.

Conclusions:In this study, the PSA value was 4.5 ng/ml in men with prostate cancer, and this value was higher than that of the controls. The authors conclude that the prostate cancer screening process was not a result of a single screening test.

What Is Finasteride? Finasteride, also known as 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, is a medication that works by reducing the levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. In the treatment of prostate cancer, DHT is produced by the prostate gland and is converted to testosterone by the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase. By inhibiting DHT production in the prostate, Finasteride reduces DHT levels, which helps to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells. Finasteride has been shown to be safe and effective for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), but only after the patient is evaluated for PSA testing. This is because Finasteride can inhibit the production of DHT by the prostate gland, and this inhibits the enzyme that is essential for DHT production. What Is the Finasteride? Finasteride is also shown to be safe and effective for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), but only after the patient is evaluated for PSA testing. Finasteride can inhibit the production of DHT in the prostate, and this inhibitory effect is thought to be due to its anti-estrogen properties.

Study design and design

This study was a case-control study using the Prostate Cancer International database. The population of the study was men who were not eligible for prostate cancer screening (PSA) as part of the prostate cancer screening programme. The study included all men who had ever had a PSA test before or had PSA levels greater than 4.5 ng/ml at the time of screening.

Study population:A total of 12,979 men (30.1%) were found to have PSA values above 4.5 ng/ml and 5,849 (35.6%) were found to have PSA values greater than 10 ng/ml.

Control:No other controls were included in the study. The control group was also included in the study. The control group was a group of men who did not have any cancer screening (PSA) or had PSA levels greater than 4.5 ng/ml. The control group was a group of men who did not have a PSA test before or had PSA levels greater than 4.5 ng/ml.
